Young adults face a unique set of challenges living with a brain injury.
Our mission is to bridge the resource gap within neuro rehabilitation, with a specific focus on the young adult population.
Because we are aware of these challenges, our group provides tailored support that survivors actually want.
What sets us apart is that our recommendations and advice stem from our personal experiences, making them authentic and relatable.
This community aims to harness the power of processing these experiences through a peer-focused, supportive network.
Our support group meets online via Zoom which makes it convenient for survivors and allows them to join from the comfort of their own space.
But our commitment doesn't end there! It is well-known that social and emotional well-being often goes unnoticed in traditional recovery settings and a brain injury can significantly reduce opportunities for social and emotional healing. Recognizing the profound importance of social and emotional well-being for survivors, we are thrilled to introduce in-person events.
Our in-person events will not only provide another space to share valuable resources for neuro rehabilitation but will also allow survivors to meet other survivors and strengthen this supportive community.
Together, we can face the challenges of brain injury recovery and ensure that no one feels alone on their journey.
